Exercise Description:
The kettlebell single-arm clean is a strength training exercise that targets the muscles in your hips, legs, and core. To perform this exercise, start by standing with your feet shoulder-width apart and a kettlebell positioned on the ground between your feet. Hinge at your hips and grip the kettlebell handle with one hand, keeping your arm straight and your back flat.
Engage your core muscles and explosively drive your hips forward to lift the kettlebell off the ground and up to your shoulder. As the kettlebell reaches your shoulder, rotate your elbow under the weight and catch it in the rack position, with the kettlebell resting on the back of your forearm and your elbow close to your body. Lower the kettlebell back to the starting position and repeat the movement on the opposite side to complete one repetition.
