The resistance band lateral single leg hop exercise is a plyometric exercise that works the muscles of the legs, hips, and core. It is a great way to improve your lateral agility, explosiveness, and balance.
To do the resistance band lateral single leg hop exercise, you will need a resistance band that is long enough to loop around an anchor object, i.e. pole, door hinge, another person, etc... Stand with your feet hip-width apart and wrap band around your waist. You play with placing it around other parts of the body after you have the base muscle capacity to handle this exercise. In athletic ready stance hop to side, which would create resistance in band and land single leg. Hop back to bring resistance back down and repeat.
