Exercise Description:
This exercise is a resistance training exercise that targets the muscles of the hips and buttocks, specifically the gluteus medius. To perform the exercise, you will need to wrap the resistance band around your ankles, knees, or both and stand with your feet hip-width apart. From there, you will need to move one leg outward against the resistance of the band, keeping your feet flat on the ground and your knees slightly bent. Be sure to keep your abs and back muscles engaged throughout the exercise to maintain good form and avoid injury. You can adjust the difficulty of the exercise by using a band with more or less resistance, or by changing your stance to make the movement more or less challenging.
