Exercise Description:
A side lunge with a kettlebell is a type of exercise that involves using a kettlebell, a type of weight with a handle, to perform a lateral lunge movement. To perform a side lunge with a kettlebell, start by standing with your feet shoulder-width apart and holding the kettlebell in one hand at your side. Take a large step to the side with your opposite leg, lowering your body by bending your knee and shifting your weight onto your bent leg. Keep your chest up and your back straight as you lunge to the side. Push through your heel to return to the starting position. Repeat the movement on the opposite side. This exercise can be made more challenging by using a heavier kettlebell or by performing additional repetitions. It is important to maintain good form throughout the movement to avoid injury.
