Exercise Description:
The alternating push-up row is a compound exercise that combines a push-up with a kettlebell row. It targets the muscles of the chest, shoulders, back, and arms, making it a great exercise for overall upper body strength and development.
To perform the exercise, you will need to start in a standard push-up position with your hands on a pair of kettlebells. From there, you will need to lower your body down toward the ground and then push back up, keeping your body straight and your abs engaged throughout the movement. As you push yourself back up to the starting position, you will need to simultaneously row one kettlebell up toward your chest, keeping your elbow close to your body and avoiding swinging the weight. Once you have completed the desired number of repetitions with one arm, switch sides and repeat the exercise with the other arm.
