Exercise Description:
A high knee jump is a plyometric exercise that involves jumping and lifting the knees up towards the chest. To perform the exercise, you would begin by standing with your feet hip-width apart and your arms bent 90 degrees in front of you; using them as a "target". Then, bend your knees slightly and jump off the ground and bring your knees up towards your "target". Land softly on the balls of your feet and immediately repeat the movement.
The high knee jump is a great way to improve lower body strength and power. It can also help to improve cardiovascular endurance and coordination. Additionally, the exercise can help to increase the range of motion in the hips and legs, and improve overall flexibility. Overall, the high knee jump is a great way to improve your overall physical fitness and coordination.
