Wood Choppers

Exercise Description:

Start by standing with your feet hip-width apart and holding the sledgehammer with both hands. Then, you would swing the sledgehammer from one side of your body, across your midline, and up to the opposite ear.

This movement should be performed in one fluid motion, using your arms, shoulders, and core muscles to generate force and control the sledgehammer's movement. As you bring the sledgehammer up to your ear, you should twist your torso so that your chest is facing forward and your arms are extended in front of you. Try and hold it there for a second or two then bring sledge hammer back to side. The hole time keeping it under control, arms straight, using core to twist, and keeping feet firmly planted.

This exercise can help to improve your upper body strength and coordination. It is important to maintain a strong and stable stance throughout the movement to avoid losing control of the sledgehammer and to avoid injury.
