Exercise Description:
A lying floor leg raise is a type of exercise that targets the muscles of the hips, thighs, and buttocks. To perform this exercise, lie on your back on a mat or other comfortable surface with your arms at your sides. Keeping your legs straight, lift one leg up off the ground until it is in line with your body. Hold for a moment, then lower your leg back down to the starting position. Repeat with the other leg, and continue alternating legs for the desired number of repetitions. This exercise can be done with or without added weight, such as a ankle weights or a resistance band, to increase the difficulty.
