Exercise Description:
To do a ballistic hamstring stretch, start by lying on your back with one leg extended in front of you off the ground while the other is up in the air. Keep your back straight and your feet flexed.
Next, quickly switch leg positions, as you switch the position give a little extra effort to get the leg in the air just a little higher. Instead of holding the stretch for a set amount of time, try using quick movements to stretch the muscles even further.
